Another aspect of Espiritu Loci's work with the Phoenix Zoo was to create a unique form of donor recognition. Working closely with the zoo, the Espiritu Loci team conducted extensive research on donor recognition techniques. Multiple monument concepts were developed to ensure that recognition for those who make the settings of the zoo possible became integral parts of the zoo experience. Designs included rock waterfalls, Bedouin tents, steel and ramped earth structures, steel jungle sculptures and gateways. |
