Located in the heart of the community surrounded by lakes, The Island neighborhood is a visual focal point. The design of the homes here must reflect that setting both physically and socially within the community. The homes on The Island will be required to provide articulated, detailed elevations on all sides of the home so that from every vantage point, the quality of these creations is evident. Each residence should make its own unique contribution to the greater community so that each home offers a “gift to the street.” This should include tree-lined shaded walkways, layered landscape spaces, and interesting architecture. These settings should be attractive in the day, and gently illuminated to be enchanting at night.
