Fulton Homes approached Espiritu Loci to help them write design guidelines for their custom home community, The Island, within Fulton Ranch. To help illustrate the vision for The Island and to convey the sense of quality and legacy found within all of Fulton Ranch, great care was taken to write a set of guidelines that clearly illustrated architectural styles and the parameters in which a homeowner could build on their site. Espiritu Loci also worked extensively with engineers, landscape architects and Fulton Homes to incorporate the details already found within Fulton Ranch into the design guidelines for The Island. The result was a well organized document containing not only standards of operating for design review and construction but guidelines for site design, landscaping and six different architectural styles. Great care was also taken in creating a document that looked like it belonged within The Island as well. A custom made binder and section dividers as well as style sheets and review forms were all made to match design styles in place at Fulton Ranch and The Island. The Espiritu Loci Team works together with the Design Review Committee to help realize this vision.
