The request was to create builder neighborhoods with a limited number of parks that captures the essence of the natural landscape character of DC Ranch and the formal, old-world parks of Silverleaf. The result is several neighborhoods woven by Sonoran desert washes and landscape each focused on a neighborhood park. The land plan and park design stretch the presence of the park into the neighborhood itself. The parks were positioned in the neighborhoods to welcome residents and visitors as well as take advantage of distant mountain views. Structures were built in each park with furniture and amenities which make them extensions of living rooms. These communities were very land efficient while creating a strong community identity
