The developers of Adora Trails, an infill community in southeast Gilbert, asked Espiritu Loci to help develop a path and trail plan for the community. Several options were created focusing on different zones of activity and multiple planting densities. Our goal was to give the community a rich and diverse trail system that would satisfy many different lifestyles. One key segment of the trails plan is a central green belt that wraps its way throughout the entire community. Along the entire green belt are a series of backyard portals which would become an integral part of the marketing and branding for the community. We developed the phrase, “A place where old friends come to the back door while new friends still come to the front,” to describe how the portals would live. Each portal will be considered a point of pride for the home owners and adorned with plants, address markers and style specific details.
Our team also worked extensively with the developers and other consultants to create a marketing book for the community that is given out to prospective buyers. This book showcases the master-plan for the community, the features of the community center, illustrations of the parks, and the initial design guidelines for the community. It was built to easily evolve with the community and as the marketing needs changed. We worked extensively with the developer’s marketing consultant to brand the book from the beginning and to choose stock photography the best represented the lifestyle and level of quality that will be available from day one. |
